DESCRIPTION:A couple of years ago\, two blokes who’d worked with trains for the  better part of 50 years purchased several historic carriages from  Queensland Rail. They sought the expertise of a hospitality pundit\, and  then our team was born. We’ve spent the last year or so refurbishing the  old carriages\, and have transformed a part of the old “Sunlander” into a  new boutique rail restaurant called “The Q Train”. How’s that for  recycling?! \nIf you live around the Bellarine area\, you may have seen us working on restoring the carriages over the last 12 months. \nAs long term homeowners on the Bellarine Peninsula\, we have dreamed  of creating a Restaurant Train to showcase the beautiful Bellarine and  Swan Bay scenery\, whilst offering premium local food and beverages. The Q  Train is the realisation of this and we are proud to share this vision  with Geelong\, The Bellarine and beyond!

DESCRIPTION:The Blues Train has been rockin’ the rails since 1994. We started small\, inspired by stories of the old blues masters jamming on Mississippi freight trains. The Blues music and train travel combo was so much fun we kept going\, putting on more shows\, attracting great blues musos and entertaining more and more people from all around the world. These days over 10\,000 people enjoy The Blues Train every year. \n\n\n\nOf course there would be no Blues Train if if weren’t for the trains lovingly maintained and driven by the  wonderful volunteers at the Bellarine Railway. \n\n\n\nThere would also be no Blues Train if it weren’t for the blues music! In over two decades we’ve had more than one hundred acts (solo performers\, duos and full bands) do their thing in somewhat unusual conditions. They love playing on the train and that really comes out in their performances. \n\n\n\nThe Blues Train is run by the team at Bay City Events. Bay City Events specialises in event management\, corporate functions\, artistic programming\, product launches\, bar operations\, unique venues\, entertainment and festivals. \n\n\n\nContact us for packages which include two tickets on the blues train\, one nights accomodation for two and a full buffet breakfast.
